Doctors in Training Recruitment Campaign 2027 – Advanced Trainee General & Acute Care Medicine An opportunity is available through the Tasmanian Department of Health for Advanced Trainees in General and Acute Care Medicine to join the 2027 training intake at the Royal Hobart Hospital. Location: Royal Hobart Hospital, Hobart TAS Employment Type : Fixed-term, Full-time Contract: 1 February 2027 – 7 February 2028 (with potential extension to 2–3 years) Salary: $134,930 – $189,005 per annum (MP Level 5–11) About the Role The Advanced Trainee will be part of the General and Acute Care Medicine Department at Royal Hobart Hospital, the largest hospital in Tasmania and the state’s tertiary referral centre. This role provides comprehensive exposure to a broad range of acute and general medical presentations across a high-acuity teaching hospital environment.
